Beijing Subway Line 5 is a key supporting rail transit line for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and also a north-south rail transit artery running through the city center in Beijing's transportation network. The total length of the line is 27.5 kilometers, with a total of 23 stations, including 16 underground stations, 1 ground station and 6 elevated stations.
